Saturday, in the Meeting

Off to hang out with my fellow writer friends. That’ll be a good day, and usually there’s a signing afterward.  (Shhh. Don’t tell the people who fear the tottering bookshelves in my abode.)

Only 66 degrees outside at 8:10 in the a.m. That must mean the seasons are really going to change soon. When I chose this beautiful theme, I thought I was a bit early for autumn, but maybe fall could use a hint to come early!

Reading:  No changes. I swam and worked yesterday, and when I finally put everything aside to read, I suddenly woke up and it was morning. Don’t remember a thing in between. I’m tempted to skip the meeting to read, but I tend to be a bit of a recluse–which isn’t good–and I promised a good friend I’d go. As the beloved reminded me, I tend to always want to cancel these things at the last minute. Introvert-writer syndrome. (And I’m clearly so unnerved by the thought of actual contact with other people, I’ve split an infinitive!)  🙂

Happy Saturday to all!
