New member of the family

We’ve welcomed someone new to the abode. Oh, it’s a red letter day! This new TV is the size of–well half the wall beneath our stairs. :-) I’d take a photo to show you, but I’ve taken shelter from it cause it’s gorgeous! I’m not one to wax rhapsodic over a television usually, but the picture is so clear, the color is so vivid, the sound is–real. I’m lovin’ it! And here’s the funny thing. I’ve watched a couple of my favorite movies on it (stomach bug yesterday afternoon/last night–lots of time to drool in front of TV), and they look different on this screen. Like in a theatre!
It’s just a marvel.
This a.m., I’ve turned my back on temptation and taken to a dark room where I can only see my laptop screen. Back to work, procrastinating writer!
