No time to gab

Posted By on November 3, 2009

Must write. I’m falling behind no my eHarlequin.com nano. My problem is, I appear to be incapable of embracing the concept of write now–edit later. I’m going to give that a try today, because I hate being behind on the third day of a challenge, but oh, the editing, when I just forget about it during the writing!  :-)

I’ve forgotten why I love the characters; forgotten why I love the story. Gonna breathe for a minute and then put fingers to keyboard and hope for the best.

PS. Still three more days to vote for Suzanne!

You know, I was just thinking that very thing – that I need to learn to write without editing, then go back and edit later. I could get a LOT more done without that internal editor harping at me! I was even thinking about doing most of this book on the Alphasmart, so I CAN’T edit it.

Good luck with yours – it’s a fantastic story and I hope you get back into it.

Ohhh, Karen! I totally forgot I’d brought the Alphasmart with me. Time to go get it and get back into producing some pages.

Better to edit later than to stare at a blank screen (which is what I’m doing again), right?

    Thanks!
