No-Remodel Wednesday

So–yesterday went according to plan. Sort of.
The beloved hung around the house with the guys installing granite and plumbing. (It’s gorgeous!) The girl and I jumped ship and ate hummus with capers, and all the delightful fixings, including soft, plump homemade pita. Mmmm!
Then we shopped for mirrors.
Why, yes, you’re right. That’s not a mirror. That’s something we’ve been looking for since we moved into this house. A cabinet for that spot. Right there. Isn’t it beautiful? We loved it. And then we also loved one mirror for one bathroom. The other bathroom still has no mirror because after I bought one mirror and the cabinet of our longings, I didn’t have the oxygen to spend more. (I’m a little on the frugal side.)
So-today, my partner in crime and her father will be occupied elsewhere, thank goodness. I still have to find another mirror, but I’m going to need a day to breathe after an excess of shopping.
What better way to spend it than writing? Fortunately, my hero doesn’t think twice about having what he wants! Phew–that’ll be fun to write! :-)
