Bring on the Rain!
Must chat about weather again. Because we’ve delved back into summer. Who wants to sweat during the Christmas parade? Fortunately, we can see storms on the way. Maybe they’ll bring cooler temps.
I’ve had really good news. The editor I’ve been working with has asked for revisions, and I could not be more excited. Seriously. Wait–I guess a sale would have been more exciting, but I have been dancing! I’m taking notes on the editor’s notes. Drilling to what I hope is the heart of her issues, while not over-thinking myself into oblivion! Last night I started editing the pages, and I bumbled–no–danced–into a magical writing moment! I’m excited about the changes, instead of being terrified.
I love this time of year. I wait for it–walking at night so I can see the neighborhood lights. One neighbor just throws every light he owns into the front yard. He wraps them around anything standing, and turns on his fountain, and off we go, into frenzied holiday bliss! I like his decorations better than all the sedate, organized yards. But honestly–any blinking light just works for me!
Have you been watching Once Upon a Time? I am loving this show! So much that I have to DVR it because waiting for scenes through the commercials makes me too impatient! I walked while it DVRd, and then I sped through those commercials! Curses to the 1-hour format! I wish I had the moral stamina to last till the season arrives on DVD! This waiting between weeks… And I get a little distracted with TV seasons, but I’m not sure it’s on every week!
What’s important to you when you buy a laptop? I’m ashamed to admit I’m seduced by beauty. The beloved despairs of my judgment. But there are other reasons I love my MacBook Pro. I’ve been too random already to start listing the reasons I love thee, MBP. However, I’ve just noticed, I love the way this keyboard sounds, too. Writers are odd, aren’t we?
