Flyby!

It’s hot. I’m working. Resenting each moment I have to leave my abode because it’s air-conditioned–except my girl and I met friends for lunch today. That was lovely. Excellent food, although my scrawny girl finished her soup and sandwich special and half my asiago chicken salad and enquired, “Who gives me half a sandwich?” It takes a lot of fuel to power her metabolism! (I try not to resent that!)
We also had some excellent coffee. Picked a month ago, roasted yesterday, ground today, and one cup only whet my appetite! Should have bought a metric ton!
Back to work–and maybe as a little treat–a mug of excellent Joe later!
