Awake Too Early

Why finish the cleanup? Leftovers!
After two hours of sleep I decided to do my Black Friday shopping. I am not a shopper. I can’t imagine why I’d be willing to stand in line or sleep in a parking lot.
Hmmmm.
Nope–nothing comes to mind.
However, I’m happy to click a few buttons to knock out the major shopping. So, I did. But not before I turned on the coffee.
Which turned out to be a pot of hot water. I forgot a few major steps. Place filter. Take coffee container (have recently fallen in love with Melita! If you decide to actually put coffee in your pot, try some Melita–very smooth!) out of cabinet. Open container. Scoop coffee into filter.
Apparently, I felt pouring water in the coffee maker and hitting the switch would do the trick!
So, my daughter may be receiving a backhoe. The beloved may find himself the proud owner of a mini-pony. Who knows what Black Friday mischief I may have worked while I was boiling water?
Not sure if I’m working today. My hero and heroine make their way around the globe, but I could send them to the Paleozoic era. Or maybe they’d like to work their magic on the lost Roanoke Colony.
Might be best to sleep a bit, watch a movie, read a book, and anticipate that best of all day after Thanksgiving traditions–leftovers!
