Wednesday, already?

I can’t believe it. Just a few minutes ago, I was settling in front of the lip synching singers that paused mid-Macy’s parade. I love this season, but it goes by so quickly!  It’s why I love to write Christmas stories. I get to hold on to Thanksgiving and fall and first snows a bit longer.

Which brings up a subject I’ve been lax on. I had a book out in November. It’s probably not in stores any more, but it is available for a special that mentions melting north pole prices online at eHarlequin.com. (That means 40 % off!) And you can also still find it at Amazon and Barnes & Noble, too!

I love this story. I was able to explore my love of courtrooms and my fear of clowns. I got to visit a quirky family, and I lined the settings with twinkly lights.

And the courthouse behind embracing Jake and Maria? In my suggestions for the cover art, I said the courthouse was Victorian and had a clock, but you wouldn’t believe how much this looks like the one that was my companion as I wrote!

I laughed when I got to the part about the clowns. I told my better half that you put some of yourself into this book!!!

I’m glad it stayed through revisions! The clown is a good clown. The clown is a sensible clown. The clown is still scary!
