Temporary Father

A few years ago I wrote a book called Temporary Father. At the time, Superromances were not published in ebook format, but this one has just been released. I loved this story. A driven magnate, who was a fish out of water, recovering from a minor heart attack in the small town of Honesty, VA.

This is the back cover copy.

She makes him feel like a superhero…

For all his success, Aidan Nikolas couldn’t save his wife. And he couldn’t save himself from what followed. But maybe he can save Beth Tully, her troubled son and her struggling business in one single bound.

Beth fears she’s failing her son. But it’s hard not to lean on the strong, handsome man who makes them feel so loved and protected. Except, the more she lets Aidan into her life—and her heart—the harder it’s going to be when he leaves….

I’m going to admit I don’t love the cover. I’ve never said that before because I imagined the cover model googling the book and finding the author whining. I never wanted to hurt his feelings, and I’m sure he’s a handsome guy. I love this story, so I wanted it to have the best chance with a great cover. And, in a bit of behind-the-writing irony, I felt really bad giving this hero a heart attack (I loved him, you see), so I made him so gorgeous business mags wanted him on their covers, although he did not, as one reviewer bewilderingly suggested, have a career as a model. And that’s all I’m going to say about that–except that I’ve been really lucky with every other cover!

And I’m ecstatic it’s easily available again!

In a few days, I’ll mention the other new ebook releases.
