Early Thankfulness

Posted By on November 24, 2009

Two days before Thanksgiving, I should be cleaning the abode. It’s in serious need. (My family appears to think that normal cleaning = stacking. I must unstack!) And also bake some bread because I want to make Suzanne McMinn’s recipe for cornbread stuffing. Ever since we lost my grandma, I’ve longed for great stuffing, and Suzanne has never steered me wrong with any recipe.

As a thank you for the recipe, I also voted  for Suzanne, who’s in the final applicants for a job on Sam-E, blogging about living a positive life. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I can’t imagine living as positive or as busy a life as Suzanne. And I vote for her every day if I can get the Internet to cooperate! You should, too!  Check out her Chickens in the Road blog and then go here to vote! It’s a great job, and she’d be perfect for it!

As for me, I’m longing to roam the Internet at will, reading all my favorite blogs, checking recaps on Top Chef, and Dancing with the Stars. (Did someone win yet?)  I’d love to re-watch my already fave performances of certain dances on So You Think You Can Dance (go, Jakob and Ashley!), and I want to go search for Thanksgiving-themed stories for my Kindle, cause can you have too many books literally at your fingertips?

But, no, I have to unstack and dust and clean. And I’d better start with the massive TV my husband simply rolled into the living room when he bought his great big, brand new one for Thanksgiving football. Go vote for Suzanne, and then tell me what makes you yelp a surprised “Thanks!” two days early!  :-)
